Here it goes~

My spleen will be removed on Friday.
Everyone has been asking me are you ready?
Ready? For what? I think I'm prepared. My kids will be taken care of thanks to Grannie and Lynnie, I have stocked the fridge, I have dusted the things that don't get dusted very often.
(ie: the fans, the base boards, the lights, I thought if I'm laid up for a couple of days these things would drive me insane to look at.)
After many tests and lots of my blood taken, my doctor thinks if the spleen comes out I will feel better. The funny thing is it doesn't hurt and I feel fine. I am getting sick more often, but next to having RA (I wish they could remove that from my body!) it's a walk in the park. The doctor also told me that I will have more energy because apparently I'm anemic too. I thought that tending 7 kids plus my two was the reason for my ability to fall asleep within 15 seconds of my head hitting the pillow. Well the countdown has begun, wish me luck!

Yuk~
I took this picture a couple of days ago, off my back porch. I know it looks like a lake off in the distance but that is the hazy yukky guk that's called "the enversion!" (I think that is how you spell it?) We are lucky to live far enough South that we don't have to be in the yuk. Yahoo!

Be my Valentine~

I ask, is kindergarten too young to be receiving a "real" Valentine card?
Dylan came home with this card today and I about died.
Mom: Who is this from?
Dylan: Alyssa.
Mom: Did she give everyone a card?
Dylan: Nope just me.
Mom: WOW! She must think you are so nice.
Dylan: Ya, she does.
Mom: Good boy, always be nice to girls.
Dylan: No problem, I will....~smile~

S-C-A-R-Y!
Do you know when you wake up from dreaming and you are sitting there thinking, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? That's what happened to me last night. I have always been a dreamer mostly bad dreams but some are just crazy. Ok, here is goes. I had a dream that Gary Coleman was throwing silver confetti on my lawn and yelling "here you go, do you like that!" (please us the classic Gary Coleman voice as you say that and throughout this post!) I was outside on my porch and I was asking him "what are you doing?" and he just kept yelling "here you go, do you like that!" I sad, "NO. I don't" and then I got scared so I ran in the house and called the police and they said go tell him if he wants to go to jail then keep it up. So I yelled that to him he said, "ohh ya, then take this" and he backed up his big black truck and dumped a huge load of more silver confetti on my lawn. The yelling continued and I said "fine, I am calling the police again." and then I woke up. Now in dream land this lasted I swear like 4 hours. I was so scared of Mr. Coleman. What the heck was that???Side note: G. Coleman lives in Santaquin, I see him occasionally. He does have a really big black truck and he is the only African American person in about a 15 mile radius. So he does not just blend in with the locals. Am I being rude now? Sorry! So maybe that is where Mr. Coleman comes into my dream....???

Lynnie~
I have to give out some love to my sis....
She is such a great example to me and being six years older than me I really can look up to her. She is a great mom who is raising 4 amazing, beautiful girls. She is always ready to kick the soccer ball around, get down on the floor and wrestle, make any craft with her crazy crafting skills, she'll paint a room in one hour and have everything put back together in two, she lives out of her car, which means she drives to countless soccer games, practices, basketball games, practices, dance, school activities, birthday parties, work, and anywhere else you ask her to go. She looks after my grammie who is 86 years old. She gets her groceries, takes her to Dr. appointments, shopping, and anything else that she needs her to do. She has had a very sick daughter this week, (hugs to Shay) taken my grammie shopping, worked, ran Kenadie everywhere, taken care of all her mom duties, and also taken care of ME....
I called her yesterday (I am ill, with no voice, a barking cough and ready for the iron lung) to see if she would ask her PA some questions about my illness. She was getting my symptoms, what the Dr. had told me, what meds I was on, and so on. She said that she would call me right back with some answers, and that she did. She knew when I called that her PA was gone, and her Dr. was gone too, but she never hesitated one bit. I later found out that her ran to another building to find a Dr. that could answer my questions. She gave me answers, advice and offered to drive one hour to come and get my kids to stay with her. What a wonderful sis I have. She has so much on her plate and STILL she serves. Endlessly. She has called me three times since just to make sure that I am ok...I am so lucky to have a sister like her. I could call her at any second of the day and she would be there. I love her so much! Hugs and kisses to Lynnie...my sis......
