Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na (the graduation song)

It's that time of the year.
My baby boy graduated from Kindergarten!

He loved school and his sweet teacher Ms Esquerra. Everytime we went to parent teacher confrence she would just shake her head and say, "He is such a special boy" Of course we know this already. I am so proud of him, he is such a good reader and great at math. He never missed a day of school that's how much he loved it. We are so proud of you Dylan. I might cry even harder when he goes to 1st grade, I'm going to miss him so much.

Ms. Sophia also graduated!

She loves school too! She is so shy, she finally started talking to her teachers about a month ago. At her graduation she never opened her mouth. They sang six songs and she never made a peep. She did smile the entire time though. She is so smart and loves to make the sounds of each letter. We are so proud of her too, and hopefully she will come out of her shell at school soon. She talks my ear off at home!!
We love you Sophie!!

- Ohh, my rolly polly just broke in half! (Sophie)
- You should cook on TV and dad could hold the camera. (Dylan)

TGIF~

A few things that happened today before 11:00 am.
- three kids have peed their pants.
- one pooped
- three band aids have been applied
- the TV has been pulled over and on to the ground. (thank goodness it was the 13in.)
- two kids crashed into each other
- two kids spilled their really sticky juice on the floor
- a bowl of fruit loops spilled on the floor
- I burnt my toast
- the toilet over flowed and I mean over flowed!
- my dishwasher door is stuck (maybe from the juice?)
Just when I'm ready to throw in the towel I received this...
(via Dylan mail)

...and everything melted away and I knew that I was doing something right today. (at least Dylan made me think so.) Thank goodness for Dylan mail! :)

Babysitters side note: No children were harmed or hurt in this post! ~whew~

10 things that Dylan gets REALLY excited about~

1) Paper (he loves it)
2) Envelopes (he cuts them in half so he can have two)
3) Tape (his Grandpa & Grannie Joan keep him supplied)
4) Clip boards (every six year old needs a clip board right?)
5) Pamphlets (any kind, his eyes light up like he is in a candy store)
6) Business cards (I am constantly saying, "It's just for my son.")
7) PVC pipe (he has spent his own money to buy it)
8) Staples and Staplers (can you imagine when I vacuum his room)
9) Home Depot How To books (ie: Decks, flooring, roofing, ect.)
10)Flowers (he took 30 minutes to pick out the right ones.)

He cracks me up. He is defiantly one of a kind. I heart Dylan!

Visitors~ (the good kind!)

He were so happy to have Grandma and Grandpa here to visit from Arizona. And we all have to thank them for bring the warm nice weather up here with them. When Grandma and Grandpa leave we have to go through this sort of de-tox with Dylan and Sophie. The constant attention, the tickling, the laughing, the playing, the adventures, the hugging, the card games, the fun. I have to say it is a little rough on Jesse and I but we wouldn't have it any other way. We love them so much!

At the end of the big giant slide!
They went down this slide about 50 times and it never got old watching them laugh all the way down!

Taking a picture on a Merry-go-round is a lot harder than it looks!

Easter Fun~

We had a great weekend just hanging out together. We decided to go to the Jazz game at the last minute and we had so much fun. Dylan has been watching the Jazz games with JW and is really getting into them. He was so funny our seats were two rows from the top (really high) and Dylan said do you think that I'm on T.V.? So we called Grannie Joan and being the wonderful grannie that she is she said, I think I see you on T.V. Dylan was so happy! He clapped and cheered at every basket. Sophie couldn't keep her eyes off of The Bear and she would just start laughing. We had a great time! We got home pretty late so when church starts at 8:30 needless to say we were all tried. So no cute Easter Sunday church pictures. Ohh well maybe next year. I did manage to remember to take one of the kids finding Easter eggs. Whew, I might still be a good mom.

Guess who turned 4 on April 4th?

My sweet Sophia!!
She has been counting down the days until she turned four. She woke up and she told me that she thinks that she got taller last night because she was turning four. I love her so much. I can't believe that my baby girl is four. ~sigh~

Dear Sophia,

I just wanted to tell you how much I love you and how much I love being your mom. I remember when I found out that I was going to have a little girl, I was so excited. I couldn't wait to dress you up, put bows in your hair, play dolls with you, and most important be the best mom in the world to you. You are so special, you are kind, sweet, loving, cuddly, snugly, happy little girl. When we get the rare chance to be alone just you and I, I love how you say that we are best friends and you want to play with me. I also love when we are in a public bathroom and that is the time when you feel the need to have deep conversations with me. Things that have happened in the past that you still remember and want to discuss them with me on the potty. How you say that girls just root and toot and boys are stink bombers. You are so special to me and I can't imagine my life with out you. LOVE YOU....sissy sue, sister sledge, sopher, sis, princess, sledgey, rooter tooter girl.....

Side note: This is a picture of her cake that she ate. Notice not one bite of frosting is left on her piece of cake.:) This is why I love her!
